She Don't Come Round Anymore

Sunday's gone and Monday's here.
She took her faith and disappeared.
Well I'm sitting here thinking on how we met,
strumming this song I can't quite get...what for?
She don't come round anymore.

Her vision dances in my head,
like the last thing that she said.
"Sorry's such a useless word."
A lame excuse that she had heard before.
Now she don't come round anymore.

Well the time stands still and the hurt don't stop,
I sure miss her now.
Temptation leads a foolish man to tears.
And the guilt I feel, well it's all I got -
I sure let her down.
Forgiveness is a thousand miles from here.

Cassanova broke his word,
I guess I got what I deserve.
Yellow taxi in the rain,
she looked back once as she reached for the door.
No, she don't come round anymore.
